Meet our New Corneal Fellow Adam Chubak, MD
Corneal Associates of New Jersey announces that Dr. Adam Chubak has joined the practice as a Cornea Fellow serving patients in their Fairfield, New Jersey office. Dr. Chubak has a focus on transplants, refractive cornea surgery, and anterior segment surgery.
Dr. Chubak attained his undergraduate from Yeshiva University, where he graduated with honors and on the dean’s list for all four years. Following his undergrad, Dr. Chubak spent a year doing lab research at New York University. He completed his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, he completed his residency in Vascular Surgery and an internship in General Surgery at Mount Sinai.
After completing his pre-residency fellowship in Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate, he then joined SUNY downstate for an ophthalmology residency. In Dr. Chubak’s final residency year he was a chief resident and named the primary surgeon for many anterior segment procedures, cataract procedures, and emergent trauma.
Dr. Chubak is involved in research and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
