Dr. Gupta specializes in medical and surgical management of the cornea, external diseases, cataract, and refractive surgery. She’s an expert in corneal transplants, endothelial keratoplasty, superficial keratectomy, corneal degenerations/dystrophies, corneal ectasia, keratoconus and infectious disease.
Dr. Gupta graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and Psychology from Rutgers University. She then earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
After completing her internship at University of Maryland she completed residency training in ophthalmology as Chief Resident at Tulane University Medical Center. Followed by a Fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Gupta is an active member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) as well as several other professional associations.
Dr. Gupta enjoys presenting, research, and has published several papers. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, taking cooking classes, and spending time with family/friends.
