Overview of Kremer Cares

Lending a hand through local and regional philanthropy

Through the power of Kremer Cares, we work to help our local communities grow and prosper. Each year, we sponsor events and often participate alongside our partners to help them advance their missions, achieve their goals and spread the word.

Kremer Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gives the Kremer family the opportunity to go above and beyond. Since 2016, Kremer Cares has supported many charities throughout Philadelphia, Cherry Hill, and Wilmington. Through yearly event participation and sponsorship, everyone on our staff can contribute and do their part to help make real change happen.

Our 2021 Kremer Cares Mission was to spend time with our furry friends at the Brandywine Valley SPCA, Pennsylvania’s first no kill, open admission shelter. The team had an amazing day volunteering at the shelter and getting to know the staff and dogs. Thank you to everyone who participated, and thank you to the Brandywine Valley SPCA!

Carson Cares

Kremer Cares up has proudly partnered with The Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation (Audience of One), a non-profit that focuses its efforts on helping local and global underserved communities. Philadelphia Football Star Carson Wentz launched the AO1 Foundation in 2017.

Through his foundation, Thy Kingdom Crumb is a mobile food truck that distributes free food around the local Philadelphia area to uplift communities. Last year, Kremer Eye Center donated a percentage of all refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, Visian ICL, and Refractive Lens Exchange) proceeds to Thy Kingdom Crumb.

Kremer Cares Day

Once a year, Kremer Eye Center closes our offices for a team building in-service day. Together, over 100 employees volunteer to help non profits in our community. Giving back is core to our mission! Check out our Facebook page for pictures.

Past Initiatives

Through Kremer Cares, we have also raised more than $20,000 for K9s for Warriors, an organization that trains service dogs for military veterans suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder and sponsored a K9 who was paired with his Warrior, Amanda. Kremer Eye Center was a Silver Sponsor for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation event, Stand Your Ground, which raises awareness for childhood cancer and its causes.

We proudly sponsor the Annual Lupus Links Golf Outing, the Lupus Foundation’s Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter’s yearly summer outing, that offers support programs that raise awareness and provide medical care for those living with the disease. We also support Variety – The Children’s Charity, a national organization that helps children suffering from serious illnesses, disabilities, or disadvantages that holds an annual event called Let Them Eat Cake.

We proudly support the Foundation Fighting Blindness and their mission to drive research and provide treatments for many eye diseases that can cause blindness and Simon’s Fund, a charitable organization that works to prevent sudden cardiac arrest in children and student-athletes.

Additionally, Kremer Eye Center took part in the 3rd Annual National Sight Week, sponsored by the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery Foundation. In partnership with Operation Sight, we performed free cataract surgery for a local individual in need.
