Treatment Options

When considering LASIK and vision correction procedures, there are options available. The right treatment plan will be customized based on the results of your free consultation and these treatment options.

  • Lasik

A 7 – 10 minute procedure per eye, using a state of the art laser to open the flap around your cornea, reshape your eye’s unique measurement and close the flap. A painless procedure that leaves you seeing better, and back to life as usual in no time at all. Candidates see great improvement in their vision after LASIK.

  • PRK

PRK is another laser refractive surgery option used to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism in patients whose corneas are too thin to qualify for LASIK. The technology has been around longer than LASIK and takes approximately 15 minutes per eye. PRK relies on laser light technology to reshape and remove part of the cornea, which grows back on its own post-surgery. Results are similar to LASIK, but recovery is a bit slower.
