Dr. Chatterjee is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Kremer’s King of Prussia, Horsham and Center City, Philadelphia, PA offices. He specializes in the treatment of cataracts and glaucoma.

As a part of our Employee Spotlight series, Dr. Chatterjee has provided some insight in what he does at Kremer and how he can help you get the clear and long-lasting vision you need.

What made you want to join the Kremer family?

When I interviewed with the practice I was impressed by how friendly and caring everyone was.  It says something when team members stick with an organization for so long, as many of us have.
Everyone I met had been with Kremer for years (sometimes decades) and it speaks to our strong cohesion!

Why did you decide to become a cataract & glaucoma surgeon?

Cataract surgery is a modern miracle. It is an honor to be able to help people see better and to do so in a way that takes advantage of some of the most advanced surgical technology available in medicine! It is also often said that this is a golden age in glaucoma surgery, as we can provide excellent results with far fewer risks than ever before.

What are some of the procedures you perform at Kremer Eye Center?

I perform cataract surgery, glaucoma lasers, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries as well as more traditional glaucoma surgeries.  I also do a limited number of refractive procedures.

How do you think the industry has advanced since you started and where do you see it going in the future?

We have refined our surgical techniques over the past several years.  This is an amazing time to be an ophthalmologist.  I look forward to discussing your options with you at your next appointment!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to swim, run, and bike!  Anyone else love triathlons?
