Meet Kremer’s Newest Associate: Paul Johnson, M.D.

January 05, 2021

The team at Kremer Eye Center consists of experienced professionals dedicated to providing the best eye care to patients all over the Greater Philadelphia area. One of the newest members of the Kremer family is Paul Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Johnson joined the Kremer team in December of 2020 and works in our Cherry Hill, King of Prussia, Center City and Horsham offices. As a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastics surgeon, he specializes in facial rejuvenation procedures and reconstructive oculoplastics surgeries.

Check out our sit-down interview with Dr. Johnson below to learn more about him and what he can do for his patients.

What made you want to join the Kremer team?

I’m so excited to join the Kremer team because of its patient-centered approach and tradition for excellence.

Why did you decide to pursue a career as an Oculoplastics Surgeon?

When I was completing my ophthalmology residency, I decided to go into Oculoplastics because it would allow me to combine the art and science of medicine. My goal is always to deliver the best possible aesthetic and functional results for my patients.

What kind of cosmetic procedures do you perform?

Upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, brow lifts, Botox(R) and dermal filler injections.

What advice would you give to a patient considering a cosmetic procedure?

When meeting with a surgeon, it’s important to trust your gut instinct.  Choose a surgeon who takes the time to listen to your concerns, and who answers all your questions. If the surgeon seems rushed or impatient, it might be a good idea to look elsewhere.

How do you think the industry has advanced since you started and where do you see it going in the future?

Minimally invasive treatments have really taken off since I began practicing in 2011.  In the future, I anticipate being able to offer my patients the same results with even less downtime.

What do you like to do when you are not at the office?

I love to spend time with my husband Ken, our daughter Charlotte, and our dog Gigi.  We love to travel, exercise, and cook together.

Dr. Johnson and the entire Kremer Eye Center team are committed to providing patients with outstanding eye care services and patient care. If you’d like to learn more about the Kremer family, and the eye care and vision correction procedures we’re proud to offer, schedule a consultation today!
