Kremer Eye Center Announces Relocation of Ambulatory Surgical Center

August 28, 2020

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (August 26, 2020) – Kremer Eye Center announced Monday plans to relocate its existing ambulatory surgical center (ASC) to a larger, state-of-the-art facility located in Wayne, PA. The first day of surgery in the new office will be Monday, August 31st. Over the last 26 years, Kremer Eye Center surgeons have operated out of 200 Mall Boulevard located familiarly right next to the King of Prussia Mall. The team is excited for this new venture to allow for more space and convenience for patients.

Since its inception in 1980, Kremer Eye Center has remained at the forefront of the eye care field. The company has grown into a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice with 8 locations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Performing the first LASIK surgery in North America and introducing the one-stitch and eventually no-stitch cataract surgery are just two examples of why Kremer is known as the top advanced eye care professionals in the Philadelphia region and the country.

The 11,000-square-foot surgical center is conveniently positioned right off Route 30, only 4 miles from Kremer Eye Center’s former location. It offers a full staff of specialty trained Nurses (RNs), certified technicians and Board-Certified Surgeons and Anesthesiologists. The new space will allow us to accommodate more patients and surgeons at one time, including larger patient waiting areas, patient locker rooms, bigger pre-operative and post-operative areas as well as three large OR suites.

Kremer Eye Center surgeons will perform a wide range of surgeries, including:

  • Cataract Surgery with Intraocular Lens Implants
  • Corneal Transplantation Surgery
  • Femto Second Laser Assisted Surgery
  • Oculoplastic Surgery
  • Glaucoma Surgery

“We are pleased to enhance our services with the relocation of our King of Prussia ASC. The new state-of-the-art facility raises the bar on ophthalmic care and takes it to a whole new level,” said Michael Aronsky, M.D. “We look forward to serving our community at a larger space to allow us to provide the best surgical eye care in a setting that maximizes comfort and convenience.”

The DelVal ASC, The Eye Surgery Center has been accredited by the AAACH, the highest and most rigorous certification for an Ambulatory Surgery Center possible, since 1986.
