Dr. Milite is the Chief Oculoplastic Surgeon at Omni Eye Services, specializing in the treatment of eyelid malpositions, management of periocular tumors, and care of patients with lacrimal system and orbital disease. A board-certified Ophthalmologist, he is recognized as one of the region’s most respected reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic surgeons. The Castle Connelly Guide has consistently selected Dr. Milite as one of the top eye surgeons in the New York Metro Area.
Dr. Milite graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fordham University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident in general ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he completed fellowships in both ophthalmic plastic surgery and eye pathology.
Dr. Milite is a member of the ocular trauma service at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is also a faculty member of The Infirmary and Mount Sinai School of Medicine and has served as a teaching attending in the OR and clinic to many eye residents and fellows. He is credentialed by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery to train graduate ophthalmology residents as oculoplastic and orbital surgeons and provides medical care to under-served populations in the third world with the Volunteer Health Program.
