Dr. Soin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained corneal surgeon. She specializes in refractive vision correction surgery, treatment of the cornea including corneal transplantation and collagen cross-linking for keratoconus, and the advanced treatment of cataracts and intraocular lens implants, including laser-assisted (Femtosecond) cataract surgery.

Dr. Soin graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at University of Illinois Chicago, where she also served as Chief Resident, and completed her Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

Dr. Soin has authored numerous articles and has received many honors and awards including a Congressional Award for Achievement in Service and a President’s Volunteer Service Gold Medal.
