Biography

Dr. Naguib is a board certified ophthalmologist and specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous.

Dr. Naguib grew up in the Atlanta area and completed his undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at Emory University. He stayed at Emory to complete medical school where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

He then completed residency training at the Cullen Eye Institute of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then pursued advanced surgical and medical training in retinal diseases at the combined New York City fellowship of New York University/Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital/Vitreous Retina Macula Consultants of New York.

Dr. Naguib has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has spoken at national conferences. He has a special passion for teaching and education and currently participates in the training of residents and fellows at Queens Hospital.

Dr. Naguib focuses on providing care that is personalized and compassionate to each patient while utilizing the latest advances in surgical and medical treatments.
