Dr. Monica Cook is an experienced optometrist with more than a decade of clinical experience, including extensive work in LASIK and refractive surgery care. Her interest in optometry began during childhood, when she saw members of her own family receive life-changing treatment to manage eye disease. Witnessing how proper care could preserve vision and improve quality of life inspired her to pursue a career helping others protect one of their most important senses; vision.

Throughout her career, Dr. Cook has developed a particular strength in patient education and in guiding patients through their care with compassion, clarity, and attention to detail. She values building lasting relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident about their eye health.

Originally from New Orleans, Dr. Cook remains deeply connected to the city’s culture and traditions and especially enjoys attending Mardi Gras balls and events annually. Outside of the office, she loves traveling, cycling, going to Phillies games, and spending time with her husband Bobby, dog Poppy, and three parrots—Bowie, Luna, and Mochi.
