Dr. Shahbakht works alongside our Omni practice specialists to manage patients during the pre-operative and post-operative phases of their eye surgery. A licensed optometrist, Dr. Shahbakht joined Omni Eye Services as a consultative optometrist in 2017.

Dr. Shahbakht graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. He completed his optometric education at the University of the Incarnate Word’s Rosenberg School of Optometry and his internships at the Malcolm Randall VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida and Omni Eye Specialists of Maryland.

Dr. Shahbakht is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
